Hey Snobs, Kelsea here! If you’re anything like me, fitness is the number one priority. With my busy work schedule and taking care of Zayden, I love using exercise to destress and take some time for myself. It helps me feel great and get in the right headspace to conquer the rest of my day. Since gyms are still closed due to Covid-19, I’ve been trying out some alternatives to my regular workout routine and am here to share some of my favorites!
1. CorePower Yoga
CorePower Yoga has been offering an online alternative to their regular in-studio classes called CorePower Live. This service lets you sign up and stream live classes from the comfort of your own home! Their schedule runs 7-days a week and still has all of their classic workouts, plus specialized classes that focus on more specific topics, like sleep meditation and breathing techniques. I am a big fan of the Yoga Sculpt classes- they allow me to get a good sweat in while working on my strength and flexibility. I also love that the online format makes it so easy to fit a workout in, no matter if I’m traveling or at home!
2. SoulOutside
I’m super excited to share this one because it’s been so nice to work out in a group setting again! SoulCycle is now offering outdoor classes 7 days a week at select studios and I absolutely love it! It’s so fun doing an in-person class and having other people around me to help me stay extra motivated. Plus, it’s a great way to spend time outdoors and I get to work out with a view!
3. Equinox
Equinox has been offering virtual sessions with personal trainers and it’s been a great way for me to individualize my workouts. For me, it’s recently been all about the arms. I find that I often forget to work on my upper body strength because I get so caught up in working on my glutes and abs. However, ever since I started focusing on them, I’ve realized arm strength is so essential to everyday life! I’ve been able to try more advanced moves in yoga and up my weight class when doing weighted squats!
4. Barry’s Bootcamp
Barry’s Bootcamp has also switched to an outdoor setting for the current moment. The classes are 50-minutes and are great for when I want a super intense workout. They have fun, upbeat music to keep me motivated and push me to my limit (in the best way)! I always leave Barry’s feeling sweaty but accomplished. I highly recommend it!
Now go forth and get that sweat in Snobs. Xoxo!
