Hey Snobs, Kelsea here!
So it’s the season for swapping matte for dewy, lipstick for gloss, makeup and blush for bronzer!
Summer may slowly be coming to an end, but let’s be real; for any of my fellow Angelenos out there, does it ever really end for us? And for others, why does it need to end so abruptly? Summer can last just a little longer! Therefore, I thought why not share my favorite summer beauty products to help you finish off the season looking your best! Plus, these can really be utilized year-round and you can always reference or stock up for next summer.
Now as you know, wearing makeup in the hot summer months can leave your skin feeling and looking cakey; and it’s made even worse when the heat is trying to melt it all off. Ugh! Going makeup free is always an option of course, however, if you’re like me and still want to look your absolute best, “airbrushed” and all, then here are some of my go-to summer beauty products to keep you glowin’ all month long and right into Autumn.
Foundation
Dior Airflash Foundation

This foundation is PERFECT for summer! It’s a spray-on so it’s not as dewy or cakey as a liquid or powder foundation, and it will have your face feeling super lightweight, almost like you’re not even wearing any foundation. Don’t worry though, it still gives a great amount of coverage and leaves my face looking just as poreless and smooth as a liquid coverage. I personally love to spray this on a beauty blender which I apply to my face, but you can apply however you prefer – even spraying directly onto the face works too!
Bronzer
Huda Beauty Tantour & Bronzer Cream

The key to looking like you just got back from your tropical summer vacation is a good bronzer. I LOVE the Huda Beauty Tantour Contour & Bronzer Cream. It’s the perfect bronzey shade, not too orange, and is ideal for contouring too! It’s ultra-pigmented so it also adds that perfect summer glow.
Eyeshadow
Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Palette

I’m a super-fan of Anastasia Beverly Hills! In regard to eye make-up, she can do no wrong. I definitely own all of her eyeshadow palettes, but the Riviera palette is my go-to for summer. Inspired by colors of the French Riviera, it has the perfect combination of brightly colored shades and jewel tones to make any outfit, or your tan, pop! Summer is the season to get away with and experiment with bright colors, and this eyeshadow palette is a perfect way to do so!
Eyebrows
Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel

See, I told you Anastasia was my fave with their eye beauty products! I love all of her eyebrow gels and liners, including the tinted ones. But before I use a tint, I always apply Anastasia’s Clear Brow Gel as it sets, defines, and holds brows in place all day, even when you’re jumping in and out of pools and ocean waves.
Highlighter
Huda Beauty 3D Gold Sand Highlighter

“Like a sunset on your cheeks!” This limited edition highlighter was made specifically for the summer season. This was based off of their iconic Kattan highlighter palette, which is a highlighter staple of mine, so I was thrilled when they released this fresh summer version to amplify your tan. It is super strobey and shimmering, so I love how it illuminates my face with it’s warm gradient gold and pink tones.
Lipgloss
Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath Gloss

I ALWAYS have this gloss with me at all times. It’s the perfect solution if you don’t want to have a dramatic lip color, or the layers of product with liner and lipstick. This will still have you looking put together, while leaving your lips moisturized, plump, and fuller-looking, without the need to over-line! Plus, it’s not a sticky formula, so it feels more lightweight than other glosses, and won’t have your hair sticking to your lips as much on those breezy days. Also, I love that it’s cruelty and gluten-free!
So there ya go snobs! I hope some of these products help you achieve that summer glow and dewy bronzed-goddess look, ideal for summer.
Lil’ PSA though, first and most importantly of course, ALWAYS remember to apply sunscreen before any makeup and beauty product!
Have a happy rest of your summer, Snobs!
