Hey Snobs!
Kelsea here to talk about one of my most favorite fashion topics, SHOES!
With the recent change of seasons, shopping for a new fall wardrobe has been on my mind A LOT, and especially for shoes. As I’ve been going through my closet and searching for new finds in high-end department stores, it has made me want to share some of my favorite classic designer footwear with all of you, especially styles that I plan to wear this fall and winter.
Check out my five faves (at the moment) below!
Christian Louboutin — Louise XI
$2,195

When I think of fall footwear, it’s boots, boots, boots. One designer boot that I use constantly in the fall and mild winter seasons here in Los Angeles are Christian Louboutin, and for this season, I’m gearing up to wear my exquisite Louise XI 120mm in black suede. This style screams sexy and they are truly to die for! Now, I know that thigh-high boots are definitely not for everyday activities like running to the market to buy groceries, but when you want to make a powerful statement, there is nothing better than the Louise. In general though, I really adore Louboutin boots because even with their more simplistic ankle booties, you can always dress them up with a blazer or wear them casually with a t-shirt. And the pop of classic red underneath is always the icing on the cake.
Fendi — Biker/Combat Boots
$990

Now on to a more casual look, I absolutely adore my Fendi biker/combat boots from the 2019 fall collection! What’s so awesome about this particular style is that it gives off a sporty feel with the sock leg, but yet still looks sophisticated with sleek leather trimmings. The two tone of both black and light brown really complement fall shades wonderfully, and not to mention, these boots are very comfortable. A definite must-have for everyday!
Louis Vuitton — Silhouette Ankle Boots
$1090

As you can see, I really love sock boots and for a more dressier version, I cannot recommend my Louis Vuitton silhouette ankle boots enough! They feature a stretch textile, which is embroidered with the Louis Vuitton signature, and of course the greatest feature are the boot’s monogram flower-shaped heel covered in patent monogram canvas. I seem to receive more compliments on this style than on any other shoe I wear, and I’m pretty confident it’s because of the monogram heel. We’re all so used to seeing the LV print on handbags and small accessories like wallets, so having this design on a shoe definitely makes it a real head turner. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like this exact style is still available to purchase (I bought mine last year), but LV makes new and similar styles every season, and really, you cannot go wrong with any of their offerings. I mean come on, it’s Louis!
Fendi — Ankle Boots
$1,150

Every girl needs a decent pair of ankle boots, and again I go back to Fendi. They are truly killing it in their boots department this season! I just picked up these pointed, glossy ankle boots made of neoprene. I love that they are two tone in color and are offered in three shades — gray, black, and red. I personally own enough black shoes for now, so I went for the gray color, but I think I may also splurge and buy the red ones! Oh, who am I kidding? I can never have enough black boots so I’ll probably get those as well!
Chanel Sneakers
$950

As you probably all know by now, I’m obsessed with everything Chanel and their sneakers are no exception. They have become a staple in my wardrobe and I’m happy to own a few different pairs, including these navy/orange/white ones made of calfskin and mixed fibers. With each new season comes new colors, and although they are definitely on the pricey side for sneakers, the comfort level is worth the cost. Plus Chanel sneakers are beyond chic, making them easy to pair with anything casual, or what I like to call “upscale casual”.
