Hey Snobs, Kelsea here!
As a mother, I’m fully aware of the struggles that come post-baby in regard to your body changing, and in particular, the results of c-section scarring on your lower tummy. At first I was rather embarrassed by this mark, however, now I believe women should be proud of their post-baby bods, c-section or not, and trust me when I say I finally am! Although, it did take me a minute to get where I am now.
My c-section scar shows that I birthed a beautiful human into this world, which is honestly the greatest blessing any woman can experience, and definitely something no man can ever boast about! So, having some scarring is something that I am not ashamed of and I do try to embrace as much as possible.
With that said though, as we all know and understand, there are times when we all just want to look our absolute “best,” and especially when it comes to being in a bikini! So I often opt for swimwear that covers any scarring, as I prefer to keep that momentum private around certain people. I know a lot of women can also be self-conscious of c-section scars at times, so I am sharing with you some hot-mama swimwear styles that’ll cover your lower tummy areas. I sincerely hope that these styles will keep you from shying away from beach and pool days, and instead inspire you to embrace your new motherly figure in these super flattering, sexy, and tummy-conscious swimwear styles!
Check out my favorites below:
High Waisted Bikini Bottoms:
This is my personal favorite swimwear style! You can still be in a sexy bikini, but the high-waisted effect covers any lumps, bumps and scars that you may want hidden in your lower stomach/hip area. It also gives you a nice lil’ tummy-tuck!
I love this style made by Bikinishe!

Printed Suits:
Prints are the best distraction from any unwanted attention to your lower tummy. So whether it’s in the form of a one piece or a high-waisted bikini, prints are super flattering, cute, fun, and the most perfect camouflage from unwanted attention elsewhere!
This checkered print from Bikinishe is so cute and classic! #CantGoWrong

I also love this Fendi one-piece print from Ssense!

Busty Babe:
Another great trick to take the attention away from your lower tummy area, is to highlight and accentuate a different part of your body that you are super proud of. For me, thats my bust! So don’t feel shy about showing off what you have!
This plunge one-piece from Nordstrom is sexy, but yet keeps it classy at the same time.

Cutouts:
Often looking not quite like a bikini and not quite like a one-piece, cut out suits are one of my new favorite swimwear styles! The cutouts also add a nice distraction, and if you get the right type of cut-out, it covers the tummy nicely but without the full one-piece coverage. This way it adds a little more fun and sex appeal to a regular one-piece!
This style from Dolce Vita is perfection.

So there you have it mommy snobs! I hope these little swimsuit tricks will have you feeling and looking your best and most confident as a hot mom in swimwear! Over all though, remember, confidence is key.
So whatever makes you feel confident and ready to take on the world (or in this case, the beach or pool), then wear it and flaunt it!
