Hey Snobs! Kelsea here. I am super excited because it’s my favorite time of the year again and no, I’m not talking about Christmas –– I’m talking about New York Fashion Week! I adore NYFW because I love seeing all of the breathtaking designs and getting a sneak peak at trends for the upcoming year. Plus, the shows are always so artfully done. It’s truly an experience not to be missed.
This year, New York Fashion Week was obviously a little different due to COVID-19 and while I’m sad that I couldn’t be there in person to experience the magic, that didn’t stop me from tuning in virtually so that I could still see all the looks. Here are some of my favorites:
I’m a big fan of Christian Siriano. His designs are always show stopping and never fail to amaze me. I love this look above because it’s so elegant and classy. The red color he used makes the dress pop and the detailing at the bottom adds a unique element to the design. Also, can we talk about how gorgeous the location is!
Now this is what I call a power suit! This design from Tom Ford definitely makes a statement. The animal print is very in and I love how he used bright colors like green and pink to accent the piece. This look is bright and fun, but mature and sleek at the same time.
This piece from Maisie Wilen is gorgeous! I think the fabric makes the piece so chic and I admire how the colors make the piece bright yet still sophisticated. I also am obsessed with the asymmetry of the dress –– such an interesting design!
Private Policy titled their collection this year “Searching for Aphrodite.” This look was one of my favorites because it has a very industrial design but the light purple color adds a soft, feminine touch. So cute and so stylish.
Hey guys, Cole jumping in here. As many of you know, I am really into fashion and was sad to not be able to attend NYFW this year. I always make sure to dress well so that I can present myself in the best light. Plus, I really loved trying out different styles. NYFW is a great way to make sure my style stays up-to-date and gives me great inspiration for my future looks. Here are some of the looks I really enjoyed.
Future Lovers of Tomorrow
I’ve been very into street style lately and seeing how I can use it to create comfy yet polished outfits. I like how this look is casual but still sleek. I would definitely wear this out.
I think the pattern of this piece is very cool. It is subdued and has a rustic, sophisticated feel. The necklace adds a nice subtle touch. I like that jewelry has become such a staple in men’s fashion.
Who Decides War
I like how urban this look is. The jeans are super cool and unique. I don’t wear purple often, but this design makes me want to incorporate it more.
There you have it my Snob fashionistas! Go check out these collections for yourself. Even during a worldwide pandemic, these designers did NOT disappoint!
Xo, Kelsea & Cole!
